Massachusetts Bay Colony Charter is revoked in London (second).

[June- Gilman] Court of Chancery takes the action on the grounds that the colony has not upheld English laws, grown too independent in commercial and religious affairs, and shown shown in sufficient deference to Charles II. A new charter is issued in 1691.*
